Architectural Ornaments of Cast Stone

Portico

In England cast stone or reconstituted stone is a preferred building material for architectural ornaments. Among many other applications it has been used at the Buckingham Palace and the Royal Palace of the Belgian King. Cast stone has many advantages over natural stone:

  • Individual shapes and profiles – even very detailed ones – can easily be made as serial products
  • The costs are a fraction to the ones of natural stone
  • The look is indistinguishable from natural stone
  • It developes a natural patina
  • Its durability is the same or higher than natural stone.

Our cast stone as construction material is regularily tested by independent laboratories for density, compressive strength and capillary absorption. For more detailed information on cast stone please go to our page Service.
